Our mission is to be a welcoming, intergenerational hub for people of all backgrounds to learn, play, build community and foster lasting connections and friendships.
Our Vision
Sellwood Community House is a place for gathering, learning, recreation, celebrating, service and connection.
Through preschool, after school, teen/tween and adult/senior programs as well as drop-in classes and activities for all ages and joyful community events, Sellwood Community House is a place for social communication and community building at every stage in life. The vision of Sellwood Community House is to be a thriving “third space” in our community—a place that creates ample and easy opportunities for conversation, social interactions, new connections and that feels like a home away from home.
