Winter Sellwood Sessions at Oaks Pioneer Church

Second Fridays, october-June | 7pm-8:30pm | tickets $45-$65 | oaks pioneer church

The Sellwood Sessions at the historic Oaks Pioneer Church offer an intimate, jewel-box concert experience in one of Portland’s most enchanting spaces. With its warm acoustics, glowing wood interior, and stained-glass charm, the Oaks Pioneer Church creates a setting where audiences can connect deeply with the music and the artists who bring it to life.

These performances not only celebrate the beauty of live, local music—they also serve as a fundraiser to support future concerts and community music programs hosted by the Sellwood Community House. Each session is a reminder that when people gather in special places to share art, they help sustain the creative spirit that makes Sellwood thrive.

Full Plate Farm Winter CSA

Every other Thursday, november-april | 12 shares, full and half shares available | pick-up window 1:30 - 8:30 PM | SCH

Full Plate Farm is located on a gentle slope among oaks and firs in Ridgefield, WA, just 18 miles North of Portland.  Since 2010, we have specialized in growing certified organic vegetables for the winter season, so you can continue to eat local, nutritious food throughout the year.

We harvest a variety of Certified Organic vegetables with you in mind. The staples of the winter CSA share are carrots, beets, kale, collards, chicories, lots of braising greens, winter squash, garlic, and herbs. Mixed in throughout the season will be an array of vegetables, including: parsley root, potatoes, parsnips, salad turnips, rutabagas, brussels sprouts, leeks, shallots, onions, cabbage, popcorn and more. YUM”

Share members receive a box of vegetables straight from the farm every other week from November through the middle of April, for a total of 12 CSA shares. Members also have access to the tasty Cook With What You Have recipe archive, and are invited to come out to the farm to U-pick flowers, pick blackberries and work if they are interested."

A Full Share feeds roughly about 4 people. It’s usually between 16 and 23 pounds of produce per share.

A Half Share (our most popular share) feeds roughly 2-4 people.  It’s usually between 8 and 12 pounds of produce per share.

The CSA shares before the thanksgiving holiday and the winter holidays are on the bigger side, so you can share and feast more.

Add-on options include mushrooms from Cloud Cap Mushrooms and bread from Starter Bread

Honey is available for sale when you pick up your vegetables..
