Do you remember long, lazy summer days? What if we told you Sellwood Community House wants to bring them back? Join us for this community conversation about recreation- the role it plays in fostering healthy, connected communities and how Sellwood Community House intends to make recreation for all ages easier and more fun this summer.

Sam Balto, founder of Bike Bus World will share what it looks like when hundreds of kids reclaim their neighborhood streets and become agents of their own childhoods.

Ashley Murray, executive director of Sellwood Community House will share how SCH intends to start a revolution in recreation, beginning with a summer of free recreation in Sellwood Park.

We’ll be joined by some very special guests from around Portland. Bring your questions and ideas! This event is for adults- limited childcare available for children ages 3-9. Please RSVP so we have plenty of snacks and prizes on hand and to reserve a childcare space.
