Thank you for supporting Sellwood Community House at this critical time.
In our six years as a nonprofit community center, SCH has grown into a truly intergenerational hub; supportive, inclusive, welcoming and, we hope, inspiring. Together we have build something remarkable.
Your support now is instrumental in our ability sustain current levels of programming as we continue to await our insurance settlement from the 2024 catastrophic flood that nearly destroyed this building. This unexpected crisis has depleted our reserves, while our monthly insurance payments and costs of our new HVAC system have skyrocketed.
Our fall fundraising goal is $100,000. We hope to raise half of that amount by the end of October to avoid reductions in programs, hours or staff.
