“Essential Knife Skills”
Good knife skills are the foundation of any well-equipped kitchen, but learning them doesn’t have to be scary or frustrating. However, many cooks don’t always wield a knife correctly, which increases preparation time and makes the process harder — and less safe — than it should be. Simply put, this class will remedy these basic issues: You will learn how to slice, dice, chop, and more in the proper and most efficient manner. This class will even guide you through the practice of keeping your knives sharp and handling them correctly at all times.

“Communication and learning strategies for children who struggle  with  developmental delays, learning disabilities, behavioral problems, or autism”

A workshop that covers evidence based procedures for children with autism, effective strategies to use when teaching language, self-help, and social skills, and how to conceptualize and address problem behaviors in children with autism and other communication delays.

“Self-care for Perimenopause and Menopause Success” with Laura Goff, LAc, RYT

In this workshop Laura will offer insights from the Traditional East Asian Medicine perspective as to how to move through this transition with grace, wisdom, strength and appreciation for all that your body can do. Laura will share some of her favorite self care tools including meditation, yoga, Aroma Point Therapy and self massage that are relevant to thriving through this transition. Bring your yoga mat, a cushion to sit on (or chairs will be available) and get ready to shift your awareness, energy and appreciation for your feminine gifts.
